The topic "FLAMES" reminds me to remind you that there is a HUGE amount of fine graphic files on the Internet available for free in the form of free DingBat Fonts. At least in PlasmaCam all you need to do is install the font on your computer, open a new .pcm file and type the letters using the DRAW TEXT function. I've got several dozen good flame images from a free DingBat, but darned if I can remember where I found them. Anyway there out there for those who take the time to look them.
I also found a SUN & MOON Dingbat years ago that had fifty really well drawn sun and moon fonts, many of which I could import into PlasmaCam and use w/o editing. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact Dingbat namne or location.
Here for just an example id a like to dafont.com's animal dingbats where you'll find page after page of fine, very useable images. There are a bazillion other such site if you'll look.

And another way to get the fonts into DXF format is to load the fonts into a program called DeskEngrave:

This works great. You can also arc the fonts.
