I don't have the drawing, so it's hard to figure how I can nest it for sure and make the best use of material. I would say, just off some quick seat of the pants math, I would be around $400 for a one off. I am thinking $150 to cut and clean, $150 for powder coat, and 1 hour labor @ $85 for welding. If you tell me how much material it takes to make one I can get you a firm price. The above is for 10g mild steel.
Now, if I was making 10 at a time, I could probably get it down a little cheaper, depends on how many I can cut out of a 5'x10' sheet, then obviously I can weld 10 up quicker than one at a time, and I also would get a discount on powder coating 10 at a time vs one at a time. That being said, I may get the price down to around $250-300 range if that was the case. Again, without knowing how I can nest it I can't give a firm price.
Dave: what did you sell it for?
I am using your pricing app so if you send me the dxf or part file I can load it in SheetCam and see what my numbers come out to. Pretty sure I will be close to Shane in pricing though.

Its not on sale yet, I calculated it out to around £90 but even at that price, those that I have shown it and asked "how much do you reckon?" have all come back way lower and looked surprised when I told them what it would likely be!
This is the trouble selling stuff over here at present - very few care about quality at all, it's all low-price this and pound-shop that at the moment, to say things are difficult is an understatement.
