Yesterday my Harbor Freight dryer started leaking and I returned it. Today I happend to have an A/C friend over and we measured the humidity in my system by metering the air coming out of the torch.
The air coming from the torch measured right at 35% humidity. The ambient air was 55%. What is an acceptable number for humidity?
I need to know if I should buy a replacement dryer.

We do not publish a number specification for the relative humidity of air. The operators manual for the Powermax 45 offers the specification: Clean, dry, oil free air, 99.5% purity per ISO 8573-1 Class 1.2.2 . If you look up that specification you may find the answer!
