hey guys i'm needing to cut some precision parts on some 1/2 thick metal but i'm having problems with the cut flaring in towards my part on one side and flaring out away from part on the other side kinda like this >>>>( /======/ )then the either the top or bottom of the part one will be perfectly straight and the other will be flared in or out i've tried running it in conventional and climbing and both result in pretty much the same issue... If anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening i would love to know so i can fix it quickly thanks in advance!!!!
Equipment is Hypertherm 105 Plasma and a 4X8 Torchmate 2 CNC Table with water table installed

Your description of the parallelogram cut angularity indicates a damaged nozzle and or shield. Usually this occurs from piercing too close, or with to little pierce delay.
If you can provide some details: material type and thickness, power level and consumables being used, pierce height cut height, pierce delay time, cut speed. Pictures of the used consumables and the cut angularity as well. I'm sure we can solve it!

Re: hypertherm 105 with torchmate 2 not cutting right on thick metal
I am cutting a square with a hole in the center for these test cuts out of 5/8 stainless I put a brand new shield and nozzle on to test this and checked over my settings again and ran a piece out the first one was really good still had a little run out on one side of it and the circle was still not the best so i slowed down the ipm and ran another one and got the same result as described above i'm running the 220993 shield and 220990 nozzle with these settings .13 cut height .25 pierce height 1.00 pierce delay 38 ipm cut speed and 149 for voltage when i slowed the cut speed down i went to 35 ipm cut speed and i'm not sure if i've got the pierce sensing delay right i had it at 1.2 anything you can come up with to help me out would be greatly appreciated
