Do a screen shot (.jpeg) of the image you want to convert.
Run Inkscape and import the image make it the size you want.
Click on Path and click on trace Bitmap this opens a menu for the trace.
Using the Brightness cutoff click on update if the image is not right
Change the threshold up/down and keep clicking on update until you
Get the image to look OK When you do click on OK now move the image
To ID the trace image (it will be a black image over the original) and
delete the original now click on the traced Image This will access the
fill and stoke in the lower left and click on it.
This will bring up the fill and stroke menu in the upper right. When the
fill tab is shown click on the X below it. This make the image disappear now
click on the stroke paint tab and click on the box next to the X this will
show the image trace outline. You can change the outline thickness by
clicking on the stroke style and change the width value not really needed.
You can now save it as DFX or SVG for SheetCam.
Now if you want to eliminate some of the drawing elements you would click
On path then Break apart then under object click on ungroup you can now
move around the image and click on what you want to eliminate and hit the
delete key Sometime it is easier if you enlarge the image (hit the + key)
save it when you are finished.
